WESTALCA has developed a solid, competitive position at the domestic and international level, in relation to its prices and quality standards of its products, having achieved the penetration of foreign markets of their specialty.
During the last years WESTALCA has successfully penetrated the field of primary aluminum alloys, particularly the series 356 alloy destined for the fabrication of wheels for the automotive industry.
WESTALCA was established in 1986 in order to carry out construction activities for the aluminum industry, its current installed capacity is approximately 20,000 MT/year, all produced to the satisfaction of each client. WESTALCA supplies the domestic and international markets with a wide array of finished and semi – finished aluminum products.
WESTALCA’s industrial plant, located in the Matanzas Industrial area of Ciudad Guayana, State of Bolívar, Venezuela, occupies an area of 330.000 sq.ft., and includes a Cast House, a Laboratory, as well as Fabrication and Maintenance Shops. Its favorable location, approximately 1 mile from the two Venezuelan aluminum smelters (CVG ALCASA and CVG VENALUM), and in close proximity to the Orinoco River, assures both the supply of raw material and readily available transportation of products.
